PUBS ON THE TRAIL
Conwy Real Ale Trail includes all the Best Pubs & Breweries
The Albert is a family-friendly, popular food and real ale pub in the heart of Llandudno. It prides itself on serving a hearty mix of homecooked meals, accompanied by a mix of local and popular ales, beers, wines and spirits and topped off with friendly, welcoming service.
The Rhos Fynach, now a beautifully restored pub and restaurant, was originally a 12th century monastery with secret tunnels linking it to the nearby tiny, 6th century, Chapel of St Trillo. This was the home to the monks who fished the weir off Rhos Point to provide the catch for the larger monastery in Conwy at the time. The oldest building in the area, built in 1181 AD, Rhos Fynach (literally meaning ‘Monk’s Marsh’) offers haven, nourishment AND history for the weary traveller or the holidaying family!
Serving traditional ales and a constant roaring fire are still one of the many fine features available making this a favourite place to rest a while.
The Station is from the team behind the successful Albert pub in Llandudno. Serving excellent ales, hearty food and with a welcoming atmosphere, you can get a taste of The Station just a few miles down the coast.
A WIDE range of delicious dishes, cold and hot beverages and a warm welcome await you at the Mountain View.
The pub – located in Old Colwyn Road, Mochdre – boasts a friendly atmosphere and top class service from Andy, Chiara and the team.
Bank of Conwy is a fun and friendly beer, wine & tapas bar in the heart of the beautiful World Heritage town of Conwy. It is located immediately adjacent to the train station in a beautifully converted former bank building on Lancaster Square. Take a look at the ceiling, cosy original vault and mahogany managers office.
The Wild Horse Brewing Company is a small craft brewery located in Llandudno, North Wales – established in 2015. Wild Horse Brewery is passionate about brewing beer naturally – their beer is never filtered and never pasteurised . They serve only the freshest and most delicious beer made exclusively with Snowdonia water and the finest malted barley and hops we can source.
